1. - Local Infection.

Keloids can appear as a result of body piercing. Keloids are scars that remain with a raised appearance. This happens in people whose skin tends to scar like this. Keloids are not malignant but have an aesthetically undesired appearance. Only in extreme cases can they lead to cancer, and this does not depend on the technique itself but on the genetic characteristics of the client.

6. - The client must know that having a foreign agent (rings or jewelry) placed in a body piercing may mean that they suffer some trauma or accidental tearing that causes significant injuries whose severity will depend on the magnitude of the accident and the area of the piercing. 7. - Most common risks in the following body areas:
• - Ear: infection
• - Nose: infection and cartilage damage
• - Eyebrow: infection, artery, vein, nerve injury, and tear duct injury if done too centrally.
• - Lip: infection, dental irritation.
• - Tongue: numbness of the tip, damage to the artery and sublingual nerve, loss of taste sense, tongue numbness.
• - Belly Button: infection. It is advised not to pierce prominent belly buttons.
• - Nipple: infection. Do not perform during pregnancy
• - Genitals: infection. Sensitivity decrease, hemorrhage, paraphimosis (strangulation of the glans) in males.
